What I liked the most about the course was that it allowed me to think more outside of the box when approaching a crisis situation. Learning about the SOLVE Solution, the different stages of a crisis, and Emotional Response Levels broke down the situation of a crisis in way that helped me to think in more detail about the reciprocity between myself and the person in crisis that is needed to be achieved so as to effectively de-escalate a crisis.
