Introduction to Crisis Intervention

CCG is pleased to offer a shortened, introductory crisis intervention training course provided in a live, on-line, web-based format utilizing Cisco Webex On-Line Conferencing services.

This new course offering will be conducted as a dynamic, interactive, live training session taught by a CCG Master Instructor, teaching through the internet from our headquarters in Northern Virginia, to anywhere you have a computer with online access.

Training sessions are held live, with integrated group activities, feedback, and question and answer opportunities in order to build true competency and enhance the learning process.

This progressive and highly effective training course will be conducted through the use of Webex software freely accessed on-line for participant’s easy download.

Participants are able to follow along, interact, and continually participate during the training course with the instructor and other participant’s.  As organizations streamline budgets looking for ways to enhance employee skills while minimizing costs, this training option allows for an effective, integrated learning experience, without requiring travel costs found with ordinary on-site workplace training options.

The Prevention, Intervention and Teamwork Training Course curriculum provides the basic principles regarding how to prevent, intervene, and work as a team to deal with crisis behavior when it occurs. Verbal Intervention skills and theories will be taught to enhance participant’s ability to verbally de-escalate and calm aggressive or challenging persons they may encounter.

This course lasts @1.5 hours and can easily serve as an introduction to crisis intervention for new hire’s, or a refresher for seasoned professionals.  Additionally, this course will easily fill-in as an ”orientation course” or “in-service training course” to assist agencies in providing workplace safety skills to their employees, quickly and easily.

DETAILS:
As noted above the training course will last approximately @1.5 hours.  Courses may be scheduled at a time and date that works with your employee’s schedules.  Training will be conducted through the use of PowerPoint presentation software over a WebEx connection.  Course related written materials will be distributed to each participant prior to course date, after initial registration.  Training will be conducted by a live CCG Master Instructor hosting a WebEx online training session from our headquarters in the USA, streamed live (not pre-recorded) online to the computer of your choice.

The cost for this course is based on the total number of participants from the organization that you wish to have in attendance, or based on a per session rate. Please contact us for more information.
