This 3 day course option additionally serves to provide advanced room clearing skills, mass evacuation techniques, physical area dominance and security, dynamic communication skill building. Training may be combined with live-action, simulated exercise’s to help evaluate facility responses to such situations. Developed and taught by CCG’s Specialized Response Training Team, (SRTT) consisting of current and prior sworn law enforcement officers with Military, SWAT / SERT, experience. There had been practice internally throughout the site by the staff and administration of the organization, long before the incident occurred to prepare for such events. Working hand-in-hand with local law enforcement once they arrived on-scene, greater tragedy was averted due to such preparation.
As an example, prior coordination with the local nearby McDonald’s to provide food, water and shelter for the Discovery building Daycare staff and children during the mass evacuation had been planned out.
