One of the most frequently asked questions by individuals who research our curriculum and company is how they may become legally authorized to teach our system to other individuals and organizations in their community.  For this unique authorization, we have created the Independent Affiliate Trainer Program (IATP).

This course provides the training, certification, processes, teaching materials, as well as the legal authorization to utilize our research, curriculum, trade name, logo, and branding in order to fully benefit from the Crisis Consultant Group, LLC industry research, recognition and trade name.  Currently utilized in 18 states across the nation, our highly effective skills and techniques are routinely regarded as some of the very best in the industry.  Utilized in schools, hospitals, corrections, treatment centers, group homes and Fortune 100 companies, our curriculum is highly sought after and considered “mandatory” training for many organizations.

The IATP course allows individuals or selected employees within an organization the unique opportunity to become certified in our Verbal and Physical Crisis Intervention Training curriculum, and the ability to be legally authorized to teach it, for profit.

Gaining this Independent Affiliate certification not only provides participants with excellent opportunities to enhance their personal skills and abilities when dealing with crisis, but can increase their own marketability and earning potential in their community.

HOW THE PROCESS WORKS:
The unique system we have in place allows for proper integration of our crisis intervention training courses (Beginner, Advanced, or Fast-Track) into a marketable product  to offer both internally and externally.  Once certified, trainers will be provided with the information needed to set up, organize, and conduct courses for identified local companies and individuals seeking training in our system.  Independently billing and collecting payment from clients allows full control over the financial aspect of training services provided.  There are no royalty agreements required for affiliation.

WHICH ORGANIZATIONS / INDIVIDUALS ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY:

Organizations; The IATP is open to currently licensed, registered, and insured businesses throughout the United States, currently operating in the human services industry (For example; mental health, education, juvenile corrections, treatment, or security consultant companies).  This Affiliation process requires at least a minimum of 2 persons from the selected organization to attend the IATP course simultaneously, who possess the traits mentioned in the paragraph below.

Individuals; Anyone is welcome to apply, though persons with prior human services, social services, security, or law enforcement experience dealing with hostile or aggressive persons are highly regarded.  Individuals who have current consulting, training, or related businesses are strongly encouraged to apply as well.  To be considered, each applicant must successfully complete the following stages: application, selection, preparation, training, competency based testing, and final certification.

The Crisis Consultant Group, LLC remains firmly grounded in the founding values and integrity of our company, and is seeking to progress further into untapped markets in the US and around the globe.  Individuals who are driven, hard working, have strong work and personal ethics and values, and who are considered self-starters are desired.

TRAINING PROCEDURES:
Persons who are accepted into this process are invited to train in a small group setting with other perspective applicants. Training lasts for 3 or 4 days depending on group size. Class size is limited to ensure that each participant is provided with individualized instruction when necessary, ensuring excellent retention and competency is gained.  Successful graduates will receive endorsement to serve within their communities or organization as Affiliate Trainers (AT’s).  AT’s will be provided with contact information for other graduates to promote CCG curriculum nationally and internationally when applicable.  A step-by-step training and teaching process coupled with AT training manuals will be provided to each student, detailing necessary CCG standards, procedures, and structuring for future training courses they will provide.

WHEN AND WHERE THE NEXT COURSE IS:
Courses are held a few times each year in strategically located major cities around the USA.  Courses will be held at pre-selected hotels, most of which are set to offer reduced lodging rates for participants of the courses. Courses are usually scheduled from Tuesday or Wednesday through Friday from 9am to 4pm.  Non-required attendance at group dinners on select evenings is encouraged, specifically to allow students to network and build connections with other students of the course. Training days are filled with instruction from CCG Master Instructors consisting of thought provoking lecture, question and answer sessions, role play scenarios, teach back sessions, along with advertising, marketing, and business development training.  All information provided is specifically designed to hone participant skills and best prepare them to teach courses within a few weeks after completing the IATP course.

HOW MUCH TIME IS REQUIRED TO PREPARE FOR THE IATP?
Once you advise us that you/your organization is interested in becoming an Affiliate, you will be immediately contacted and forwarded our IATP application.  Each participant desiring to attend the course is expected to complete their own application. After the application has been returned to us and accepted, official notification of acceptance will be sent.  Each participant will then be forwarded the suggested reading list and related IATP prep materials.

IS THERE A GUARANTEE THAT PARTICIPANTS WILL BECOME CERTIFIED?
No. There are requirements to this program as would be expected in any professional training course. There is “homework” after the course that must be turned in within 30 days to ensure full understanding of the material and willingness to maintain the integrity of the curriculum and company.  This is an opportunity to utilize our highly specialized curriculum to the benefit of your community, while financially gaining from doing so at the same time. Therefore, high standards are set and maintained for all persons certified in this program to ensure consistency among all AT’s. We are seeking to grow our company and spread the CCG curriculum throughout the world.  We will only do so with highly trained, dedicated, and talented affiliates who are committed to this endeavor.

GETTING STARTED:
STEP 1:
Go to the “Contact Us” page on this site and fill out the form noting your interest in the IATP. Tell us briefly about yourself and what interests you about this program. We will then forward you our application for completion. Upon receipt, review, and acceptance of your application by our administrative team you will be notified of that fact, and provided the Registration Information. This information will note where the next upcoming course is to be held for you to attend.

STEP 2:
Once the registration and payment is received for the course desired, you will be forwarded our IATP “Prep-Package” containing all the home study materials to prepare you for the course.

STEP 3:
Travel to and attend the course at selected location. Participate in the learning process as much as possible and successfully earn your certification to become a AT.  All AT training materials will be provided to you so you will be able to then teach CCG courses.

RESTRICTIONS:
Organizations seeking the IATP certification are limited to teach our courses in their assigned region only.  In order to ensure that other AT organizations do not “set up shop” across the street from one another, CCG limits one Independent Affiliate organization per region; (Currently set as a 50 mile radius from the current address location of the organization.)  When applying, you will be notified of any conflicts with another prospective Independent Affiliates, and alternative regions may be suggested.  Businesses located in the same region is not a concern, it is only required that AT’s market and teach to regions outside of another AT’s assigned region.  For companies that currently offer services nationwide, additional regions may be granted on a case-by-case basis.

Individuals seeking IATP certification are limited to teach our courses in their assigned region as well.  In order to ensure that other AT individuals do not “set up shop” across the street from one another, CCG limits one AT per region; (Currently set as a 10 mile radius from the current address of the individual.)  When applying, you will be notified of any conflicts with another prospective Independent Affiliate Trainers, and alternative regions may be suggested.  Affiliate Trainers located in the same region is not a concern, it is only required that AT’s market and teach to regions outside of another AT’s assigned region.

COST:
Organizations wishing to become an Independent Affiliate is $3500.00 USD/Per participant. (Min. 2 per organization). Payment is expected once your application has been officially approved and you register for the course you wish to attend.  There are no royalty agreements required, though there is a an Annual Licensing Fee for legal authorization to teach our proprietary curriculum; (Please inquire for current rate)
