One of the most frequently asked questions by individuals who research our curriculum and company is how their organization can become legally authorized to teach our system both to internal employees, as well as external local companies and/or individuals. For this external authorization, we have created the Independent Affiliate Trainer Program, discussed below.
Prior to the Independent Affiliate Training Program, any person certified as a Trainer in our system was only legally authorized to teach our courses within their own organization/facility. This new certification (IATP) allows selected persons within an organization to unique opportunity to become certified in our Verbal and Physical Crisis Intervention Training curriculum as Affiliate Trainers (AT’s), authorized to teach our curriculum to other organizations in their community for profit.
As the economy struggles to gain a foothold and regain strength, adding our curriculum to your organizations training offerings is highly encouraged. By gaining this Independent Affiliate certification, participants will not only receive excellent training to enhance their personal skills and abilities when dealing with crisis, but they will also increase their organizations marketability and earning potential.

HOW THE PROCESS WORKS:
The unique system we have in place allows for proper integration of our crisis intervention training course (Beginner, Advanced, or Fast-Track) curriculum into a marketable product your organization may offer to both internally and externally. Blending your own creativity and passion for the curriculum is strongly encouraged throughout the process. It is easily described as an excellent way to offer our highly progressive and effective training curriculum around your region, utilizing your own individual talent, potential, and ability. Once certified, trainers will be provided with the information needed to set up, organize, and conduct courses for identified local companies and individuals seeking training in our system. Your organization will independently bill and collect payment from clients, allowing full control over the financial aspect of training services you provide. The course provides the training, certification, processes, teaching materials, as well as the legal authorization to utilize our research, curriculum, trade name, and logo in order to fully benefit from the Crisis Consultant Group, LLC industry research, recognition and trade name. Currently utilized in 17 states across the nation, our highly effective skills and techniques are routinely regarded as some of the very best in the industry.
WHICH ORGANIZATIONS / WHICH INDIVIDUALS ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY:
Organizations; The IATP is open to currently licensed, registered, and insured businesses throughout the United States, currently operating in the human services industry (For example; mental health, education, juvenile corrections, treatment, or security consultant companies). This Affiliation process requires at least a minimum of 2 persons from the selected organization to attend the IATP course simultaneously.
Participants; Anyone is welcome to apply, though persons with prior human services, social services, security, or law enforcement experience dealing with hostile or aggressive persons are highly regarded. To be considered, all applicants must successfully complete the following stages: application, selection, preparation, training, competency based testing, and final certification. The Crisis Consultant Group, LLC remains firmly grounded in the founding values and integrity of our company and are seeking to progress further into untapped markets in the US and around the globe. Individuals with strong ethics, who are driven and hard working and self-starters, are strongly encouraged to apply.
TRAINING PROCEDURES:
Persons who are accepted into this process are invited to train in a small group setting with other perspective applicants. Training lasts 4 full days. Class size is limited to ensure that each participant is provided with individualized instruction when necessary, ensuring excellent retention and competency is gained. Successful graduates will receive endorsement to serve within their organization as a Affiliate Trainers (AT’s). AT’s will be provided with contact information for other graduates to promote CCG curriculum nationally and internationally when applicable. A step-by-step training and teaching process coupled with AT training manuals will be provided to each student, detailing necessary CCG standards, procedures, and structuring for future training courses they will provide.
WHEN AND WHERE THE NEXT COURSE IS:
Courses are held a few times each year in strategically located major cities around the USA. Courses will be held at pre-selected hotels, most of which are set to offer reduced lodging rates for participants of the courses. Course length is 4 days, most often from Tuesday through Friday from 8am to 4pm. Non-required attendance at group dinners on select evenings is encouraged, specifically to allow students to network and build connections with other students of the course. Days are filled by small group instruction from CCG Master Instructors consisting of thought provoking lecture, question and answer sessions; role play scenarios, teach back sessions, and advertising, marketing, and business development training. All information provided is specifically designed to hone participant skills and best prepare them to teach courses for their organization as soon as they complete the IATP process.
HOW MUCH TIME IS REQUIRED TO PREPARE FOR THE IATP:
Once you advise us that your organization is interested in becoming an Affiliate, you will be immediately contacted and forwarded our IATP application. Each participant desiring to attend the course is expected to complete their own application. After they are returned to us, and you have received official notification of acceptance into the IATP you will then be forwarded the suggested reading list and related IATP prep materials. Expect that the preparation process will take 2-3 months of quarter/part time dedicated home study. If able to commit full time to the preparation process, participants ought to be able to learn/retain the necessary information in a matter of weeks.
IS THERE A GUARANTEE THAT PARTICIPANTS WILL BE CERTIFIED?
No. There are requirements to this program as would be expected in any professional training course. There is “homework” after the course that must be turned in within 60 days to ensure full understanding of the material and willingness to maintain the integrity of the curriculum and company. This is an opportunity to utilize our highly specialized curriculum to the benefit of your community, while financially gaining from doing so at the same time. Therefore, high standards are set and maintained for all persons certified in this program to ensure consistency among all Independent Affiliates. We are seeking to grow our company and spread the CCG curriculum throughout the world. We will only do so with highly trained, dedicated, and talented Affiliate Representatives who are committed to this endeavor.
GETTING STARTED:
STEP 1:
Go to the “Contact Us” page on this site and fill out the form noting your interest in the IATP. Tell us briefly about yourself and what interests you about this program. We will then forward you our application for completion. Upon receipt, review, and acceptance of your application by our administrative team you will be notified of that fact, and provided the Registration Information. This information will note where the next upcoming course is to be held for you to attend.
STEP 2:
Once the registration and payment is received for the course desired, you will be forwarded our IATP “Prep-Package” containing all the home study materials to prepare you for the course.
STEP 3:
Travel to and attend the course at selected location. Participate in the learning process as much as possible and successfully earn your certification to become a AT. All AT training materials will be provided to you so you will be able to then teach CCG courses.
RESTRICTIONS:
IATP graduates are limited to teach our courses in their selected region only. In order to ensure that graduates do not “set up shop” across the street from another graduate, CCG limits one Independent Affiliate organization per region, currently set as a 150 mile radius from the Affiliate business address location. When applying, you will be notified of any conflicts with another prospective Independent Affiliates, and alternative regions may be suggested. Businesses located in the same region is not a concern, it is only required that AT’s market and teach to regions outside of another AT’s assigned region. For companies that currently offer services nationwide, additional regions may be granted on a case-by-case basis.
COST:
The initial cost for an organization to become an Independent Affiliate is $2500.00 USD/Per participant (Min. 2 per organization). Payment is expected once your application has been officially approved and you register for the course you wish to attend. There is an additional Annual Licensing Fee for legal authorization to teach our proprietary curriculum; (Please inquire for current rate)
