Advanced CourseVerbal and Physical Crisis Intervention Training Building upon the aforementioned Beginner Course, this curriculum teaches participants fundamental skills on how to successfully escape and evade aggressive physical attacks, such as; punches, kicks, hair pulls, bites, chokes, as well as thrown objects. This course also teaches how to safely gain physical control of an aggressive person through the utilization of a proprietary intervention technique developed by CCG. Performed by 2 responders in a supportive, effective, and realistic manner, CCG holds maintain safety while protect the dignity, and demonstrating respect for the individuals involved. This course also covers liability factors to consider when going hands-on, and discusses current Federal, State, and Accreditation guidelines to educate and prepare all persons involved. Some of the topics covered during this course are listed below;
*(Use of single person control / restraint holds have been outlawed in many states, as well as thought to be unsafe by many accreditation agencies and best practice guidelines presented by state licensing organizations. For this reason CCG does not endorse the use of a single-person hold, and only teaches a 2 person hold) There is a practical review and competency based testing upon conclusion of course for certification. Certification lasts for one year.
