Here at CCG, LLC we are often asked for “statistics” or similar “numbers” to demonstrate the effectiveness of our training courses, and the reduction of restraints after an organization has been trained in our curriculum. Although the statistics to the right are quite remarkable, we will be the first ones to admit that showing “numbers” does not adequately demonstrate success or failure of a curriculum, or technique.
We are very happy to list these statistics from one of our clients who has worked very hard at implementing our training throughout their organization, though they have taken many steps to achieve this level of success. We would love to say that the results are solely based on our training, though we know that it is truly the combined hard work of the staff and administrators of the facility who have achieved such a great reduction.
The chart on the right shows their number of physical intervention / holds from January 2006 to August of 2007. These numbers were combined from 11 different facilities, housing nearly 200 patients. This client had asked us to train a group of 10 trainers, who then trained their remaining staff internally. The new trainers were trained in August 2006, and the remainder of the facility staff was certified in September and October 2006.
As shown, prior to our training, their numbers were in the double digits, as high as 54 holds in one month. Since August 2007, they have not gone above 14 in one month, and most months they have been in the single digits.
They have done a remarkable job. If you want to know who they are to verify this data—just give us a call, we will be more then happy to give you their contact information. -We will let them do the bragging.
